Hosting and server data
This website is hosted using Cloudflare Workers and Cloudflare's content delivery infrastructure. When you access the website, Cloudflare may process technical request data such as your IP address and other information required to deliver, protect and operate the website. The website itself does not intentionally store IP addresses, user agents or similar visitor information. This processing is based on my legitimate interest in providing a secure, reliable and technically functional website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Contact form
If you contact me using the enquiry form, I process the information you provide so that I can review and respond to your enquiry. This may include your name, email address, enquiry type, optional website URL, selected language and message. Where your enquiry relates to a possible project or contract, processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). For general enquiries and the secure operation of the form, processing may also be based on my legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and preventing misuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The form contains a hidden honeypot field to reduce automated spam. No CAPTCHA or third-party tracking service is used. Form submissions are not stored in a website database or in Google Sheets.
Third-party services
Cloudflare is used to host, protect and deliver the website and may process technical request data when the website is accessed. Resend is used to deliver valid contact-form submissions to my email inbox and therefore processes the information submitted through the form. Resend states that message content and delivery logs are stored in the United States and that international transfers are protected through mechanisms including Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Zoho Mail is used to receive and store enquiry emails. My Zoho Mail account uses Zoho's EU service region.
Data retention
Enquiries that do not result in a project or ongoing business relationship are normally deleted from my mailbox within six months after the last relevant communication, unless there is a legitimate reason or legal obligation to retain them for longer. If an enquiry results in a contractual relationship, relevant correspondence may be retained for as long as necessary for the contract, invoicing, legal claims or applicable statutory retention obligations. The website itself does not maintain a separate database of contact-form submissions. Resend currently retains email and delivery-log data for 30 days on its standard plans.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you may have the right to request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to certain processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time for the future. To exercise your data-protection rights, you can contact me using the email address provided above.
Supervisory authority and complaints
